Michael Schumacher celebrates after a race-long battle with Mika Hakinnen at Suzuka. His famous victory brought not only his third world championship title, but also realised a long fought for dream of world championship success for Ferrari, 21 years since it was last achieved. Having now also won their second successive world constructors title, it seemed unlikely they will have to wait a further 21 years to enjoy a repeat of "The Italian Dream"
